InkTec dye, pigment and solvent inks are compatible with piezo inkjet printers manufactured by Epson, Roland and Mimaki. Several other companies re-brand these printers, so contact Clarus Imaging to determine if your printer is compatible. The ink is packaged in the same style 220ml cartridges that you are currently using, so printer modifications are not required. Below is a partial list of compatible printers.
Roland HiFi Jet, Pro II, Cammjet
Epson Stylus Pro 7000, 7500, 9000, 9500
Mimaki JV2, JV3 & JV4

InkTec has over ten years of experience in the production of inkjet ink. R&D, ink manufacturing, packaging and customer service are all performed at the same facility. InkTec achieved ISO 9001 certification in 2000 and employees 29 full-time engineers in research and development.

InkTec ink has a color gamut equal to or exceeding that of the OEM ink you are currently using.

Since it is not possible to match the exact color profiles of all the different ink sets on the market, it may be necessary to produce new ICC profiles for your particular ink and media combinations. The technical support staff at Clarus Imaging can assist you with any questions in this area.

Measuring fade resistance is a very subjective endeavor. Various methods are used to simulate accelerated aging. InkTec ink compares favorably with OEM inks when subjected to these tests. We also evaluate our products in real world situations, which means images printed with InkTec pigment and solvent inks have been in direct sunlight in indoor and outdoor applications for over one year without noticeable fading.

InkTec ink is compatible with a wide range of media from Epson, Mimaki and Roland in addition to leading third-party vendors such as Charrette and Lexjet. Media types include: matte papers, microporous glossy media, backlit film, banner material, matte vinyl, white and clear PET film, inkjet coated fabrics and fine art papers. The pigment and solvent ink is water resistant when printed on outdoor rated media. Lamination will improve scratch resistance, but it is not required.

InkTec ink has excellent drying capabilities. Prints can be finished with pressure sensitive or thermal laminates immediately after printing.

InkTec ink has been used in this country for over one year in a print-for-pay 24/7 environment with a variety of inkjet coated media and without any adverse printer problems. Checkout our testimonial section for more information.

Clarus Imaging is committed to building long-term customer relationships, and we will do whatever is necessary to earn your business. However, if you are not satisfied with our products for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your purchase.

InkTec dye, pigment and solvent inks are compatible with the OEM inks you are currently using, so purging and cleaning of the ink lines is not required. The procedure is very simple.
1. Remove the existing ink cartridges one at a time and replace them with InkTec cartridges.
2. Select the "Ink Fill" function on the printer control panel.
3. After the "Ink Fill" cycle is completed, perform a head test.
4. Run a head cleaning if required.
You are now ready to start printing with InkTec ink.
If your printer does not have an "Ink Fill" function, select the "Powerful" head cleaning function on the printer control panel. After the cleaning is complete, you are ready to start printing with InkTec ink.
Please Note: Mixing dye, pigment and solvent ink types is not recommended.
